Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor
Academic Profile
Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is currently the Vice-Chancellor and a member of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance. Prior to his promotion to the position of Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mawutor served as the Prov-Vice Chancellor, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (2016-2022), a programme coordinator at the School of Graduate Studies (UPSA) from the year 2012 to 2015. He also served as a Hall Tutor (Opoku Ampomah Hall) from 2008 to May 2019. Apart from these administrative roles, he has also served on several university statutory committees from 2004 to date. He served on the University’s Governing Council from 2003 to 2004 and from 2015 to 2019. With his astute background in Governance, Accounting and Finance, he also served on a number of the Council’s sub-committee such as the Finance committee, Audit committee, 2015 search party, budget committee and others. He has been a member of the University’s Academic Board since 2015 and Executive Committee Member to date.
As a researcher and academic with penchant for practically oriented research, Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor has published in several indexed and ranked journals. His publications have been accepted and published by Journals ranked by Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) and Scopus. He has also presented several papers in a number of conferences and seminars. He is a regular writer in Ghana’s premier newspaper publishing firm (Daily Graphic) on finance and accounting related issues. Prof. Mawutor has also authored one (1) Book. Currently, Prof. Mawutor’s area of research focus is on capital flight in Ghana and Sub-Sahara African countries. He is an astute anti-corruption crusader. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Fraud Examiners (USA).

Dr. Asare-Bediako
Dr. Asare Bediako Adams is an entrepreneur, a management consultant, project management consultant, facility
management specialist, a leadership development coach, an author and an Information Communication Technology
(ICT) development expert who has worked for several years developing and applying management and technology
solutions on the operations of organizations of different sizes. He was the Lead Consultant of Alikeinfo Consultancy
Limited and the Ashanti Regional Programs Coordinator for Institute of Project Management Professionals (IPMP).
He has served as the General Manager (Administrative) at Kumark Company Limited, Kumasi, and the Strategic
Partnership officer of 1 Village Limited, Winneba. He is the immediate past Director of Africa Operations and acting
Regional Director, Liberia, for Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance.
He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration with specialization in Project Management from CIML
Business School, USA with a dual certification from IIC Technology University, Cambodia, MBA in Facility
Management from CIML Business School in the USA, EMBA (Banking and Technology Management) from
National Institute of Business Management, India, Professional Doctoral Fellow in Project Management from
Chartered Institute of Contract, Project and Facility Management, Nigeria, Chartered Education Manager Certificate
from Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership, USA, Professional Certificate in Chartered Management
and Chartered Professional Administration from Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants,
Ghana, Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Institute of Project Management
Professionals, Ghana and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Social Studies) from University of Education, Ghana.
Dr. Asare is a licensed member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants, Ghana, a
Certified Project Management Consultant from the Institute of Project Management Professionals, Ghana, Fellow of
Institute of Professional Financial Managers, U.K., Fellow of Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance,
U.S.A., Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership, U.S.A and a Doctoral Fellow in Project
Management from Chartered Institute of Contract, Project and Facility Management, Nigeria.
Recently, he was honored with Doctor of letters by Ecotes Benin University, Benin, among other seven personalities
for the excellent contribution to the development of professional continuing development programs for professional
bodies.
Dr. Asare Bediako Adams is currently the Director of Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, Ghana
Chapter, an online instructor in Business Administration for University of the People, USA, Director of International
Affiliations & Programs for Ecotes Benin University, Benin, External Examiner for Ecotes Benin University, Benin,
and the Executive Director of BedOAK Global Ltd.

Dr. Christiana Laryae
Dr. Laryea is a Human Resource specialist and an academician with over 10 years teaching experience. She has gained wide range experience through educational institutions such as University of Ghana, Legon (U.G), African University College of Communications (A.U.C.C), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and currently with the Ho Technical University (HTU) as a Lecturer in the management sciences department of the HTU Business School.
She is a proud product of Achimota Secondary School and hold a Bachelors and Master of Philosophy certificates from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also obtained the Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Central China Normal University in China, Hubei Province.
She has diverse papers to her credit covering research areas such as human resource outsourcing, social networking (with regards to “who you know”), industrial relations, organizational behavior, and general management issues among others.
She enjoys coaching and mentoring young ones towards achieving self fulfilment in life especially with regards to their work and building their career paths.
She has taught various course such as Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Planning, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Business Policy and Ethics, Corporate Governance and Leadership, Sociology, Personality Development among other business related courses.
She has delivered several talks at seminars, business forums, and conferences including radio talk shows on various and diverse topics.
Dr. Laryea brings on board a vast experience on how to engage and manage human resources and their various contributions to enhancing the vision and mission of any organization.

Kwabena Gyamfi Nimako
Kwabena Gyamfi Nimakoh is an accomplished legal practitioner with over eight years of experience in Accra, Ghana. Renowned for his organizational skills and results-driven approach, he excels in navigating complex legal challenges, ensuring compliance with state laws, and delivering client satisfaction. His leadership and analytical prowess have established him as a trusted advocate in diverse legal matters.
As a freelance Lead Counsel for firms like Ark Legal Consult and Mercer & Co., Kwabena has handled civil and appeal cases, mentored junior lawyers, and advised on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings across sectors like finance, real estate, and oil and gas. At Mercer & Company (2014–2023), he managed over 15 cases to judgment, achieved a 90% settlement rate in alternative dispute resolutions, and handled labor disputes, criminal cases, and transactional agreements with high success rates, while also providing company secretarial services and trademark registration.
Kwabena’s early roles included paralegal internships at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and Minkah-Premo & Co., and national service with the Ghana Education Service, contributing to USAID’s GRAIL programme. A published author, he contributed to the Ghana School of Law Student Journal (2014), World Bank Group reports (2016, 2017), and co-authored a Practical Law article on Ghanaian real estate. A member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Ghana Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Advisors, Kwabena continues to shape the legal landscape with his expertise and dedication.

CPO I John Sackey
CPO I John Sackey is retired seasoned Military of the Ghana Armed Forces. He has versatile military experience in humanitarian, disaster relief, training and combat operations. He participated in several UN peace keeping missions, which includes, The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in 1998, United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL), 2004, United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) 2008, United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), 2011; United Nations Mission in Cote d’Ivoire (UNOCI) 2013; United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) 2014. He was awarded numerous medals by the UN Peace Keeping Mission in all the various peace keeping assignments he participated in recognition of his discipline, performance and the high level of integrity he displayed. He also has experience in private security practice where he worked with the Royal Mining Company in Enchi as the Chief Security Officer and the Cash Oil Company Limited in Juapong as the Lead Security Officer.

Dr. Kwame Annor
Dr. Kwame Annor is seasoned Organizational Development Professional with 19 Years’ Experience in strategy, organization development and Talent Management. He can translate business vision and strategy into actionable, value-added goals and initiatives that improves performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. Extensive experience in cultural change programmes that improve employee engagement and morale impacting the bottom line.
He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Swiss Business School. He is also a Senior Certified Human Resource Professional (SHRM – SC), and a Senior Talent Management Professional (STMP).
He is currently Transitions Manager for Swedish Ghana Medical Centre (SGMC), leading Cancer Treatment Centre in Ghana when he has successfully led the development of a three-year strategic plan for the Centre and support the for the Cancer Treatment Centre to raise Gh45 Million Cedis for key infrastructure needed to position the Centre as the best Cancer Treatment Centre in West Africa.

Mr. Andrew Obidiaba
Mr. Andrews Agbenyo-Obidiaba is a retired experienced Assistant Chief Labour Officer with over thirty years ‘service experience. While in active service, he held the position of the Head of Industrial Relations Unit at the Labour Department, Head Office, Ministries, and Accra. Prior to this, he headed various Districts in Volta and Western Regions of Ghana as District and Metropolitan Labour Officer.
He also sat in numerous negotiations involving managements and unions to determine redundancy payments (packages). He has participated in numerous national tripartite committee negotiation processes involving organized labour, employers’ organization and the Government of Ghana to determine national minimum wage and base pay for employees in the public sector.
He is also an expert in Labour Situation Monitoring and reporting, Investigation and settlement and settle labour complaint cases in both public and private organizations.
Mr.Obidiaba has extensive knowledge in the area of Prosecution Techniques under the Labour Laws in Ghana, Modern Labour Administration, National Labour Market survey, Best Practices on Collecting and sharing Labour Migration Data for the improvement of the Labour Market Information Systems (LMIS) and Practice of Industrial Relations Partnership.
He has been a key resource person for numerous labour related training delivered in Ghana, such as Investigation and Determination of Workmen’s Compensation Claims under Workmen’s Compensation Law, 1987, PNDC Law 187, Unionisation Process & Collective Bargaining among others.
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer/ Lead Consultant of Golden Intellect Consult Limited
